About This Activity
Level: Intermediate – Advanced Our 420 Development Team program is geared towards sailors who are new to Club 420 and have racing experience. Designed as an introductory course to 420 racing, students will learn both positions of the boat and the basics needed to successfully maneuver around the race course. Boat handling will be a focal point during this time, particularly the fundamentals of trapezing and spinnaker work – major skills that are essential for moving on to racing. During the second week, students in this program might be able to mix into the 420 Race’s practices to put learned skills to the test!
