Level: Intermediate – Advanced This week's adventure specializes in two modes of sailing : assymetrical sailing and foiling. Sailors will gybe through Fishers Island Sound and Stonington Harbor using our fleet of Melges 15s, ESSE850, RS500, to explore the dynamics of assymetrical boats, and also get a chance to lift off and fly through the water using the Quant 23, Waszps, and UFO. This class is designed to maximize flexibility and fun using NESS’s small keelboats, larger dinghies, and high-performance boats. Pairing the best boats and skills for the day’s conditions, students will be introduced to more advanced concepts in sail trim and technique. No racing here, just hold on tight!
