About This Activity
Level: Advanced Our Laser Race team takes a methodical approach to singlehanded racing, trusting the team’s day to day processes and goal setting to enhance development both mentally and physically. Our season starts with a focus on the detailed boat handling and body mechanics needed to sail the Laser. Students will build on that foundation, with knowledge of tactics and rules, and boat preparation, and tuning. NESS aims to foster a great team-first mentality where all members can contribute to everyone’s improvement.. Sailors considering joining this team should have a strong background in small dinghy racing and a passion for growth. Sailors should provide their own boat for this class. Use of a NESS boat may be possible but is not guaranteed.
