About This Activity
Immerse yourself in the cool, clear, rolling waters of coastal Rhode Island and Fishers Island, New York. Get wet and build confidence in the fundamentals of surfing, “the sport of kings!” Become familiar with reading surf reports and learn how to predict, select, and judge waves. Build your skills with intention throughout NESS' beginner to intermediate surfing skills. Go from perfecting a pop-up to more advanced skills like paddling into your own waves, turning on the face of a wave, and exploring varied surf spots. NESS will monitor your progress along the way to ensure you are learning at a pace that is safe and effective. Have some fun in the sun and grow your love for the ocean!
