The Fox Den Junior League offers a fantastic opportunity for young golfers to develop their skills, regardless of their current level. Here's a breakdown of what participants can expect: Two Divisions: Players are evaluated and assigned to one of two divisions based on their ability, ensuring that each golfer is matched with peers at a similar skill level. 4 Levels of Play: Each division has 4 levels of 9-hole play, starting from an appropriate tee for the player’s current skill level. Advancement Criteria: Players advance to the next level after shooting a 36 or better for 9 holes from their current tee, promoting growth and challenge. Players will receive a certificate for each level they complete, which is a great way to track their progress and achievements. Training & Instruction: Each session includes a 15-minute warm-up and 30 minutes of professional instruction, guided by Jeff Tritt, PGA Golf Professional at Fox Den Golf Course. This ensures that players not only compete but also receive expert guidance to improve their game. This structure allows for both competitive play and focused improvement in a supportive environment. Whether players are just starting or have more experience, the league offers a great way to challenge themselves and grow in the sport. This is a tiered system of golf, where players begin at a specific tee box (based on their skill level) and progress to higher tee boxes as they improve their performance.
