About This Activity
(Sign up for the waitlist to be considered in this session's lottery!) Join us this summer as we explore and play in the great outdoors! We will play games, create nature art, explore the natural spaces of the park (forests, beach, pond, etc), build forts and climb trees, enjoy our Wild Child garden, learn bushcraft skills and tool use, and learn about the plants, bugs, animals, and more that call the park their home. This day camp is run using Forest School principles of child-led, free play, inquiry-based programming. This program is designed for ages 5-10 and takes place at Robert Cotton Park. This site has an indoor washroom facility and water bottle refill station available. Please send your child with a backpack including a full change of clothes, a hearty lunch, a water bottle, and snacks for the morning and afternoon. We are outside all day, rain or shine, so please dress your kids appropriately for the weather! If you are interested in enrolling a child who falls outside of our age range, please reach out to us at peiwildchild@sierraclub.ca with your request, and we will be happy to consider it on a case-by-case basis ***Pleases Note this Camp runs for 4 days. Monday June 30, Tuesday June 31, Thursday July 2, Friday July 3. It does NOT run July 1.
