Whether learning about sensors while building drills and magic wands. Students will learn about several simple machines throughout the class. Whether learning about pulleys while creating a windmill, or levers as they are launching cotton balls on catapults, students will see simple machines in action. They will also begin to think critically about their surroundings and realize all the simple machines they use every day. Children will learn about the importance of axles, gears, and motors in mechanical movement. They will actively experiment with these components to create their robots, while facilitating a deeper understanding of mechanics & much more. All or most components are using LEGO brick or standard LEGO kits. Required Materials: No iPad or device needed.
