About This Activity
Advisor: Vineyard App Camp Email: westcoast@vineyardappcamp.com In PokéMath, young trainers explore the world of Pokémon while strengthening core math skills through hands-on, interactive activities. Students practice number recognition, counting, addition, and subtraction by calculating battle damage, tracking energy costs, and comparing stats. By building balanced decks and making strategic choices, participants develop problem-solving and logical reasoning skills, culminating in a friendly tournament to test their strategies and math mastery. *Bringing any Pokémon cards from home is not required to participate in this program; custom Pokémon card templates will be used for this program so the students can do the math activities in class.
