About This Activity
A camp for the innovators and changemakers of our world! Each day will introduce participants to different technologies that are transforming the world as we know it. From using code in digital art and design, to exploring topics such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and quantum computing; this camp is designed to inspire the next generation of creators. Get ready to upgrade your knowledge and fast-forward into the future! Join this camp if you want to explore the technology of tomorrow! This camp features an introduction to coding and computational thinking, then explores how these concepts are being applied in different realms of technology. All coding levels welcome! This program is intended for participants entering Grades 6 and 7 in September 2026. Lunch is included in your registration. Campers will receive a nut-free, kid-friendly lunch made by SAGE dining services. Vegetarian options will be available. Individual accommodations are not available. If your camper will not be able to partake in the lunch program, please email us after registering. Girls* thrive when they have a focused space to discover, explore, and cultivate their love for science and engineering. Geering Up’s annual All Girls* Week encourages girls* and inspires the next generation of women* scientists. All Girls* camps offer the same STEM activities as their co-ed counterparts. *We use the words “girls” and “women” with an asterisk (*) to intentionally include students and stakeholders who are underrepresented in STEM fields. Cis girls/women and trans, genderqueer, or non-binary people are welcome at our All Girls* programming. For more information, visit our All Girls* page on our website. NOTE: The same themes at the same grade level will contain the same content across all weeks. For example, Maker 2/3 (Week 1) will contain the same material as Maker 2/3 (Week 7).
