Competition Readiness Camp
Get competition-ready and skate your best when it matters most! “Peak Performance” is a fun, high energy camp designed to help figure skaters feel confident, focused and prepared for the season ahead.Through interactive workshops and on-ice sessions skaters will:
- Create a personalized 5-minute warm- up plan.
- Learn what to eat before and after competing to peak energy.
- Practice mental training and calming techniques to handle nerves.
- Fine-tune presentation and performance skills to wow the judges.
- Get real experience performing in an exhibition at the end of camp.
- Learn about scoring and how to maximize points.
All skaters will finish the day with a skating exhibition showcasing their routine for an audience.
We’ll also dive into topics like competition etiquette, packing the perfect skate bag, visualization tools and how to bounce back from mistakes with confidence.
By the end of “Peak Performance”, skaters will skate away feeling prepared, empowered and excited to hit the ice and shine!
Confident & Competition Readiness CampIs your skater getting ready for their very first competition or first event of the season? Our “Mini-Peak Performance Camp” is a fun, confidence building experience designed especially for younger level skaters.
Through interactive off-ice and on-ice sessions skaters will:
- Learn an off-ice warm up plan.
- Basic competition etiquette (lining up, waiting your turn, sportsmanship)
- Proper competition posture and presentation.
- Develop strong entrances and exits to the ice.
- Learn how to handle a mistake and keep going.
- Simulate a mini competition moment in a positive and encouraging environment.
All skaters will finish the day with a skating exhibition showcasing their routine for an audience.
Each skater will leave “Mini Peak Performance Camp” feeling more prepared, more confident and excited to shine at their next competition.
