About This Activity

Description

Summer Friday Night Futsal Clinic Registration for this 4-week Friday night only clinic will include the following dates: July 25th, August 1st, August 8th, August 15th - Sprinker Recreation Center Futsal Court. Sharpen your footwork, boost your confidence, and have a blast every Friday for 4 weeks! These futsal-focused training sessions are provided by the Steel United coaches and are designed to develop quick decision-making, tight ball control, and creativity in small spaces. This opportunity is welcome to all children, with an emphasis on beginners or newcomers to the sport. We will provide futsal balls to use each Friday, and a t-shirt will be provided to all participants. This program offering is grant funded and in partnership with the Active Youth Coalition – a collaborative group aiming to expand resources for active engagement in south Pierce County, promoting the health benefits of play and physical exercise. The vision of the Active Youth Coalition is a Pierce County in which every child has the opportunity to be active through sports, play and outdoor recreation, regardless of race, gender, income and ability with the mission of every kid being active, healthy and engaged in school and community.Pierce County Parks receives grant funding that helps support our programs and services. As part of the grant reporting requirements, we are asked to collect general information about the participants, which you will find in the custom questions section upon registration.
