About This Activity
This week will focus on engineering and open-ended play. Children will explore building and design with Lincoln Logs, Kapla blocks, train towns, and thousands of LEGOs. With plenty of open-ended playtime, students will have the freedom to explore patterning, problem-solving, creativity, and early engineering skills. They will also have opportunities to share their creations with peers, explain their thinking, and talk through the challenges they encountered and how they solved them. No school on Friday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth
