About This Activity
Description
This activity is closed to further registration.
Youth Hockey is in action this winter at the Tahoe City Winter Sports Park! For young skaters (1st through 5th Graders) to learn and practice fundamental hockey skills and how to play the game. Full equipment is required and available to rent (supplies are limited). Sticks are provided.
Rental equipment includes: Helmet, pads and skates for an additional $15 fee. Please note, supplies are limited.
Time: Tuesdays and Thursdays:
- 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm: Beginners; 1st through 3rd Grades
- 3:45 pm - 4:45 pm: Intermediate; 2nd through 5th Grades
- 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm: Advanced; 4th through 5th Grades
Please remember to pack these important items for your child for clinic days:
- Warm Layered Clothing
- Hockey Gear (We do have a limited amount of rental gear that includes skates, helmets and pads available for an additional charge; items will be cleaned and disinfected between uses to reduce the risk of COVID-19 spread)
- Water Bottle (Children must have their own refillable water bottle)Face Coverings: A face covering or mask is required at the park and during this program. Please be sure to pack extra's to use when they get wet and stick to your players face and obstruct breathing.
