About This Activity
Description
Kolor Me Dance is a recreational dance and mentoring program designed for teens at the beginner to intermediate level. Teens will explore Hip-Hop (step, popping & locking, top rock, leg work, etc.), Jazz, Modern, Afro-Caribbean, and Latin dance styles while building confidence, creativity, discipline, and self-expression.Classes combine dance technique and choreography with mentoring and emotional wellness activities that encourage personal growth and positive connections. Participants may also have opportunities to showcase their skills through performances at community events.
Classes have been moved to the Takoma Park Community Center (7500 Maple Ave) in the Dance Studio.
There will be NO class held on October 31st AND November 28th.
