Instructor: April Reinhart Is your student interested in learning how to make decorated cakes for family and friends? People are willing to pay quite a bit for personalized cakes and cupcakes and most themed cakes can be made using just a few basic skills and techniques! I have been decorating cakes for more than 10 years and thoroughly enjoy the process. I'd love to share my tips and tricks with your student. In this class we will be learning the basic fundamentals of cake decorating and practicing techniques using buttercream, fondant and gumpaste. We will also work with edible images, air brushing, learn how to mold figures from gumpaste and practice the newest trends in cake decorating. Students will build skills they can use for all types of decorating projects - from cupcakes to cakes for any occasion.
