About This Activity
Description
Baby Ballet introduces young dancers to the foundations of movement while helping them build important social skills. Children practice patience, learn to wait their turn, and are gently introduced to proper dance terminology and basic ballet etiquette. Students explore beginning ballet in a fun, supportive environment designed to spark creativity and confidence.
A parent or guardian assists their child as needed, based on the child’s individual skill and comfort level, ensuring a positive and encouraging first experience in dance.
At the end of the season, dancers participate in a fun mini‑performance. Costumes are provided by the instructor.
The age range for Baby Ballet has some flexibility, children who are developmentally ready for the program are welcome, even if they fall slightly outside the typical age bracket.
Required attire: black leotard, pink tights, pink leather ballet shoes; tutus welcome!
Session fee: $60 Resident; $70 Non-Resident
**No class November 23-26
Pink ballet slippers, pink tights, and black or pink leotard required. tutus ok!
