About This Activity
Description
Ballet & Tap blends classical ballet training with introductory tap skills. Dancers learn proper dance terminology, develop coordination and musicality, and continue mastering etiquette both in the studio and during class activities. Ballet work focuses on foundational technique, while tap introduces rhythm, sound awareness, and confident movement.At the end of the season, dancers participate in a fun mini‑performance. Costumes are provided by the instructor. The age range for Ballet & Tap has some flexibility, children who are developmentally ready for the program are welcome, even if they fall slightly outside the typical age bracket.
Fee (Per 4-Week Session): Resident $70; Non-Resident $80
No class November 23-26.
Pink ballet slippers, pink tights, and black or pink leotard required. tutus ok!
