About This Activity

Description

This activity is closed to further registration.

Shadanshi Tai Chi contains 16 movements taken from Yang style tai chi so people with chronic medical conditions or mobility issues can get the health benefits found in the traditional tai chi. These exercises can be done standing up, sitting down or in a wheelchair and without memorizing a long routine. Please wear comfortable, loose fitting clothes. Students can exercise standing, sitting or in a wheelchair. Please bring a bottle of water. Students are encouraged to bring a notebook and pen to make notes after class. Handouts are available.
