This program meets on Mondays, immediately following Thurmont Middle School Dismissal at 2:20pm until 4:00pm.RecConnect is your after-school destination to unwind, get active, and connect with friends! Designed just for middle school students (grades 6-8), this program at Thurmont Middle School offers a safe and welcoming space to hang out after school. Whether you are into basketball, board games, need help with homework, or just want to hang out with friends, we have something for everyone.
RecConnect is built for you - find your friends, find your fun.
Any participant in violation of the Code of Conduct may be asked to leave by the recreation center staff member and a notification to the parent/guardian will be made.
This is a one-time registration for the 2026-2027 academic school year and must be completed by a parent/guardian.
This program begins August 24, 2026 and ends May 24, 2027.
No program on the following dates due to no school and/or holidays: Sep 7, Sep 21, Oct 26, Nov 2, 23, Dec 28, Jan 18, Feb 15, Mar 29, May 17.
