About This Activity
Get ready to experiment with yarn in a new way! This summer, our campers will explore the art of weaving. They will learn about the history of weaving and why it is important today. Campers will learn the basics of weaving using a variety of materials and methods. Through guided instruction, demonstrations, and creative exploration, students will build on their artistic skills, enhance their creativity, and leave with an appreciation for woven artworks. No previous weaving experience is required; all materials are provided, and each camper will leave with handmade treasures and a hobby that can last a lifetime!
