Calling all young chefs! In this new cooking with allergies in mind method, our young chefs will create delicious meals and treats while focusing on a different common food allergy each day. Campers will kick things off with a Nut-Free Day, learning safe swaps and how to prevent cross-contact; explore flavorful alternatives on Dairy-Free Day without milk, butter, or cheese; experiment with creative flour blends and favorite dishes reimagined on Gluten-Free Day; and discover smart substitutes for baking and cooking on Egg-Free Day. Through hands-on cooking, tasting, and teamwork, campers will build confidence in the kitchen and see that allergy-friendly food can be just as tasty, creative, and fun as any other dish!
