About This Activity
Looking to babysit or build valuable life skills? Join the ProMedica-hosted Safe Sitter Program for a one-day course covering essential child care skills, safety and security, and emergency preparedness. Participants will learn how to create a safe environment, prevent hazards, respond calmly in emergencies, perform infant and child CPR, handle common injuries, and manage basic child care tasks like diapering and feeding. Upon completion, each student receives a Certificate of Completion to demonstrate their readiness to care for children confidently and responsibly—and pizza lunch is provided!
