Join the Safe Sitter Program, hosted by ProMedica, where participants will receive expert instruction in the fundamentals of child care, safety, and emergency preparedness. Whether you want to earn money babysitting or simply want to feel confident in your ability to care for younger children, this course will teach you everything you need to know! Program Highlights: -Safety and Security: Understand the essential principles of creating a safe and secure environment for children. Learn how to baby-proof an area, prevent accidents, and spot potential hazards before they become issues. -Handling Emergencies: Learn how to stay calm and act quickly in an emergency. You’ll be trained in life-saving CPR techniques for infants and children, as well as how to respond to situations like choking, cuts, and other injuries. -Basic Child Care Skills: Gain hands-on experience in basic child care tasks such as diapering, feeding, and maintaining a clean, safe space for the children in your care. -Certificate of Completion: Upon successful completion of the course, each participant will receive a Certificate of Completion, an essential credential that shows you are ready to care for children safely and responsibly. -Gain Confidence: By the end of the program, you’ll feel confident in your ability to babysit, knowing that you have the skills and knowledge to keep kids safe and have fun.
