About This Activity
One Hockey is proud to be delivering academy sessions led by the England Hockey Talent Academy Head Coach for Yorkshire. This is not designed for beginner players, it is designed for players wanting to push for county representation or for players who are already in the county set up and wanting to push for talent academy selection. These are sessions designed to push the players involved to experience coaching by a Talent Academy Head Coach, National League coaches and players. The aim is to help players bridge the gap from County to Talent Academy with the purpose of helping more North Yorkshire players making the selection for Talent Academy. As a by product, we would expect players to see growth in their game to support their development in club and school hockey. The sessions will cover/provide: High Intensity training environments Promoting Excellence Advanced skill and gameplay development Feedback and goalsetting Specific GK coaching by an expert GK Coach Please be aware that we may change the groups slightly once we've assessed all players so as to ensure we are stretching all players and to ensure that players are in the right environment to support their development at that stage.
