This is a Spark Lab Experimental stream course and it is recommended students have a minimum overall average of 80–85% Discover the fascinating world of the brain and nervous system as you explore how neurons communicate using real electrical signals. In this hands-on course, you’ll investigate the foundations of neuroscience through interactive lessons and engaging experiments designed to reveal how our thoughts, senses, and movements come to life. Using tools such as the Human SpikerBox and the Neuron SpikerBox, you’ll record and observe neural activity firsthand, gaining insight into the electrical nature of the nervous system. Throughout the week, you’ll collaborate with peers, analyze your own data, and learn how neuroscience connects to current medical research and emerging technologies. Along the way, you’ll also consider the ethical and societal questions that arise as scientists continue to study the brain. Join us for an exciting week of exploration into the science that powers everything you think, feel, and do!
