Step into a magical kingdom where wands glow, tiaras sparkle, and inventions feel enchanted! Campers become magical engineers, designing interactive creations that respond with lights and motion, proving that technology can feel just as magical as fairy tales. In Trolls, Tiaras, and Wand Maker, your child becomes a magical engineer, designing enchanted wands, solving mystical challenges, and bringing creations to life using real technology. This camp is designed especially for ages 4–5 and 6-7 and balances creativity, guided instruction, and playful exploration. Through hands-on building and beginner-friendly coding, your child sees how code, circuits, and mechanics come together to create an interactive game they can play again and again. Campers work through creative build challenges where imagination and testing guide the process. Kids will: - Learn the engineering design process for product design - Ideate and brainstorm which magical inventions will bring the kingdom back to life - Learn about simple machines and the fundamentals of Robotics - Coding fundamentals - Build a magical invention with circuits, motors and sensors and a Micro:bit controller that can move on command, light up in the dark, or make sounds - You Decide! BONUS: : MICRO:BIT and accompanying motor and sensors are complementary. Students will take the entire project home
