About This Activity

Drop-Off Program Ages 6-9 years Maximum ratio (Raccoons:Staff) is 8:2 $310 for 12 sessions Every Tuesday and Thursday September 15, September 17, September 22, September 24, September 29, October 1, October 6, October 8, October 13, October 15, October 20, October 22 1-3pm Raccoons is the perfect way to get connected with nature! Kids get outside for a serious dose of wilderness right here in Toronto. In the woodlands, we forget that we are even in the city as we find intricate lichens, invite chickadees to land on our hands, jump in a pile of leaves or feel the mud beneath our feet. Our activities are guided by the seasons and weather conditions. Some areas of focus will likely include: - Hiking to some of High Park’s places of natural wonder - Wildlife tracking & bird watching - Learning about and safely tasting wild edibles - Animal and plant identification - Making maps and orienteering - Removing invasive species - Making nature crafts - Playing nature games
