About This Activity
The Spring Term (Term 3) Intermediate Program is a continuation of the Winter Term (Term 2) and is designed to introduce actors to specific techniques in order to develop their mind, voice and body for a confident and honest performance. Term 3 consists of weekly rehearsal classes that culminates in a final school year's musical theatre performance. This is a practical term where skills that students have learned over the course of Term 1 and Term 2 are applied throughout the rehearsal process and final performance. The Spring Term culminates in a final Musical theatre performance at the end of theTterm 3. The last 2 scheduled classes include the dress rehearsal date and performance date. These last 2 classes may not fall on the designated class "day of the week" or designated "class time". Parents will be provided with a production schedule, location and new times for dress rehearsal and performances. Ages: 7 to 11 years old Duration: 11 weeks including the dress rehearsal and performance Time: 1.5 hours per week Performance: A final performance is held on the last day of the term 3
