About This Activity
Architecture and design surrounds us everyday. By combining art and science, young designers will be encouraged to creatively express experiential designs by developing their drawing, constructing, and problem-solving skills. Within our built environment, they will understand how the spaces that surround us impact the way we live everyday by the power of play. Through exploring and critical thinking, young designers will learn different aspects of architecture and design including form, shape, space, and movement in order to foster fun and imaginative spaces. Some related topics may include sustainability, interior design, urban design and architectural history.
