About This Activity

When pilots can’t fly the mission, intelligence takes over.  A series of critical missions requires autonomous aerial systems that can navigate danger, interpret visual data, and respond instantly to human signals. Teens become AI flight engineers, designing drone systems that evolve from simple automation to intelligent, vision-driven control. Missions grow more complex as drones learn to see, interpret, and act. Campers will learn: - Research, ideate and identify the growing trends in Drone technology Design and map your Drone to a real-life challenge  - Coding fundamentals with Python - Take a deep dive into how AI detects gestures, - Control Drones using hand gestures  - Conquer pre-defined maneuvers and surprise challenges using AI-coded drones - Understand how automation replaces manual input  - Explore computer vision and visual data processing  - Learn how AI enables machines to interpret and respond to the world  - Build confidence working with advanced emerging technology  This camp is ideal for teens interested in AI, robotics, automation, or engineering pathways.
