Blueprint is an academic enrichment program that was designed for highly motivated Black students in Grades 10 and 11 (as of the 2024-2025 school year) who are interested in careers in Science, Technology Engineering and Math with a strong interest in Engineering. The program consists of four weeks of summer programming and introduces students to design thinking and innovation concepts applicable to any engineering field. Students will also participate in educational and fun excursions. After the program's summer component, students will take part in year-long engagement activities, such as regular meet-ups and monthly webinars. This program supports the Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering's mission to equip students with the technical and inter-disciplinary skills and confidence necessary to create innovated solutions to current real-world issues. This program will be held in person this year. The selection process for this program is competitive. Shortlisted candidates will be selected for a virtual interview. Students must identify as Black and be Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents.
