About This Activity
The carnival is open! In this playful robotics adventure, campers design moving rides, spinning attractions, and interactive games. Young engineers discover how real carnival rides are powered by motors, gears, and code. Through hands-on builds, creative challenges, and playful exploration, your child learns the fundamentals of robotics, design thinking, and problem-solving, all in a supportive environment with peers. Through guided builds and carnival-themed challenges, Campers will: - Learn how block-based coding controls motors, lights, and actions - Explore cause-and-effect by adjusting speed, direction, and timing - Build engineering structures such as habitats, stations, and supports - Build their fabulous one-of-a-kind carnival ground with smart rides - Practice teamwork, communication, and creative problem-solving
