About This Activity
Deep beneath the ocean’s surface, mysteries await discovery. Students become underwater explorers, building and programming robots to solve challenges inspired by ocean environments. Through teamwork and experimentation, campers learn how robotics helps us explore the unknown. Campers explore the three ocean zones: Sunlight, Twilight, and Abyssal, and learn how engineers design robots to work in different underwater environments. Each day, students research real challenges, build Through guided builds and ocean-themed challenges, Campers will: -Learn the engineering design process - Ideate, brainstorm, Engineer and build a modular Robot with Extensions to solve Missions underwater - Learn the basics of Coding - Learn the basics of Robotics
