This robotics camp is for our youngest campers and introduces them to robotics and programming using Kibo robots, which are designed for the youngest programmers. Campers will build, program, decorate, and bring their own robots to life. Even though code looks like a foreign language, it’s a language that anyone can pick up with some practice. Meet KIBO, the screen-free robot, and learn to communicate with KIBO using wooden blocks of code. Teach KIBO to perform a variety of tasks and dances! This camp has a strong literature component as we incorporate robotics and "Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak And KIBO does all this without requiring screen time from PCs, tablets, and smart phones.
