About This Activity
Description
We all hold the treasures of the life experiences that have shaped us. We may also hold stories told to us by relatives. When we’re gone, our stories are gone unless we share them. In this workshop, participants will be prompted to tell their stories in writing. The instructor will provide prompts and gentle, positive feedback. We’ll create a supportive and encouraging group. At the end of the 5-session workshop, each participant will have captured in writing some of the laughter, tears, and special experiences of their lives. We’ll learn more about ourselves, and by sharing our writing, we'll make special connections with each other. No previous writing experience needed.
Students should bring a lined notebook and pen or a laptop of tablet to write in.
