About This Activity
Description
Children will participate in music activities to develop rhythm, explore movement, motion, tempo, share in musical stories, songs and games. (Parent participation and involvement is welcome.) Participates will be able to explore 15-20 woodwind, brass, percussion or stringed instruments through demonstration and hands-on experience. Each student will also be provided with a soprano recorder and beginning instruction in playing the instrument. This class is created to keep participants actively involved in experiencing the joy of music and learning about instruments they may want to play in the future.
