This class is a lab style class intended for students who have a basic understanding of painting. Students will follow a step-by-step guide to painting that covers techniques such as brush stroke, color theory, scale, value, shapes, and composition. Paintings will focus on still life and landscape. Students will develop confidence and skill in their paintings. Shared painting materials will be provided in class, and students may bring their own supplies.
Registration includes lab fee for materials and studio use. Students should bring an apron or clothes to paint in.
