About This Activity
Description
This 5-day, immersive camp introduces students to the world of coding, robotics, and engineering using programmable drones. Through hands-on, beginner friendly block-based coding, kids will program their drones to zip around, flashlights, perform flips, and capture sensor data. As they progress, students will learn to fly autonomously, navigate obstacle courses and use sensors to interact with their surroundings. They’ll explore gyro sensors, trimming, hovering, and other drone movements like roll, pitch, and yaw. From coding drones to tackling precision landings, this camp offers a dynamic way to engage with STEM concepts.Your child will build future-ready skills like coding, problem-solving, and teamwork in a fun, supportive environment. Whether they are beginners or have experience in coding, this camp is designed to ignite their passion for technology and ensure their success in an exciting learning journey. This innovative STEM course has been designed by CompuChild’s outstanding team members with a Ph.D. in engineering, children’s librarian, and a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.).
