About This Activity
Description
This full day one-week immersive camp introduces students to the world of coding, robotics, and engineering using programmable drones and building bricks. First half of the camp will be using drones and second half will be on model building and coding. Lunch supervision will be provided. AM Camp Description: Through hands-on, friendly block-based coding, kids will program their drones to zip around, flashlights, perform flips, and capture sensor data. As they progress, students will learn to fly autonomously, navigate obstacle courses, and use sensors to interact with their surroundings. They’ll explore gyro sensors, trimming, hovering, and other drone movements like roll, pitch, and yaw. From coding drones to tackling precision landings, this camp offers a dynamic way to engage with STEM concepts. Your child will build future-ready skills like coding, problem-solving, and teamwork in a fun, supportive environment. Whether they are beginners or have experience in coding, this camp is designed to ignite their passion for technology and ensure their success in an exciting learning journey. PM Camp Description: Our Outer Space Robotics Camp will focus on hands-on model building, drag & drop programming, and understanding of machines such as motors, gears, pulleys, cams, sensors etc. Campers will build models of Moon Explorer Vehicle, Star Fighter, Interplanetary Repair Station and many more. While doing this they will discover the field of robotics and will develop an understanding of key machine parts, basic programming concepts and scientific observations related to the functioning of machines. Students will be introduced to some advanced programming concepts to bring to life their spacebots and space vehicles. Careers in robotics are growing and if your child loves to build and problem solve then our robotics camp would help them inculcate an interest in these professions. This engineering course has been designed by CompuChild’s outstanding team members with a Ph.D. in engineering, children’s librarian, and a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.). We are one of thetwo national children’s education franchises that are ‘STEM Certified’ by CogniaCampers will bring their own lunch
