About This Activity
Description
Become a triple threat: learn to sing, dance and act -- all at the same time. This camp focuses on performance skills such as acting on words, stage presence, choreography, vocal technique and proper use of voice. Learn how to not only embrace a character, but to "become" the character.
On Saturday, June 20th, registered students will learn about the audition process and audition for a part in the camps production.
On the evening of July 24th, the class will present a one-act recital showcasing all they have learned throughout the rehearsals.
The instructor reserves the right to move students between the Focus or Intensive Musical Theatre Camps as needed.
Students need to bring a backpack with them daily which should include their lunch, water, jazz shoes or other soft sole dance shoes, hair ties, paper and a pen. Students will take a 30-minute supervised lunch daily.
