Prerequisite: Our 2-day basic skills course or an exception from Hammerstone is required to take this course. Overview: Carpentry is often thought of as the rough skills required to frame a structure. But many carpenters get the chance to refine their skills and do work of tremendous detail when they trim houses. Trim is all the woodwork that covers the intersections of rough framing and wall coverings. Window jambs, casings, baseboard and moldings are installed by trim carpenters. In this class, students will develop finer measuring, cutting and joinery techniques, and will be exposed to more precision tools while working on the interior trim of the tiny house framed by our June Rough Framing course. This class is part of our Tiny House series. Students under 18 may attend with parental permission
