About This Activity
Discover the beauty of Polynesia through art! In this 5-day camp, children will create original characters like a spirited island girl and cheeky coconut creatures, as well as traditional Polynesian flower crowns. Artists will also illustrate breathtaking ocean scenes with Waʻa Kaulua boats and the serene landscapes of island huts and native plants. This workshop blends realism with cartoons. Let the islands inspire your young artist! All art supplies are provided. Art kits are available to purchase for $20 each. Young Rembrandts uses an innovative step-by-step method to teach students basic to advanced drawing skills, coloring techniques and art vocabulary. We believe that drawing is the bedrock skill required for future artistic success, and that all children can and should learn to draw. You’ll see increased art abilities, learning skills, self-confidence and self-esteem as your child brings home a new masterpiece after each and every class.
