About This Activity

This is a 5-DAY WORKSHOP featuring a Polynesian theme. Students will create original drawings like an adventurous island girl, mischievous coconut warriors, and a traditional Polynesian flower crown. Not only is this an excellent drawing exercise for creating dynamic characters and colorful oceanside landscapes, but it is also a wonderful introduction to Polynesian artwork and culture. This workshop blends realism with cartoons, using vibrant, multimedia materials. All art supplies are provided. Art kits are available to purchase for $20 each. TO ENROLL: You will be directed to Marana AZ Parks & Rec, a third-party registration website. Young Rembrandts uses an innovative step-by-step method to teach students basic to advanced drawing skills, coloring techniques and art vocabulary. We believe that drawing is the bedrock skill required for future artistic success, and that all children can and should learn to draw. You’ll see increased art abilities, learning skills, self-confidence and self-esteem as your child brings home a new masterpiece after each and every class. All art supplies are provided.
