This course focuses on costume creation for cosplay and theater. Students will learn the basics, foam armor, styling props and more to transform themselves into their favorite characters. Topics covered : Choosing materials for costumes. Basic sewing techniques & patterning. Foam armor crafting & painting, Character presentation & posing. Approximate supply cost of $20-$50. Supply list will be discussed in the first class.
