Description
In this class students will learn to make hinged earrings using the hydraulic press. We will explore creative textures made with hammers and various tools in the flex shaft, blank and form parts with hydraulic press tolls, and then learn to fabricate small saddle hinges and knuckle hinges. Students will also learn to make a heavy walled bezel setting that they can use in their hinged earrings. Hinged earrings can include a stone setting, or not, we will explore lots of creative options. This is an intermediate class, and participants should have basic skills in sawing and soldering.
