Tai Chi for Arthritis/Fall Prevention-Beginning Level (Ages 18 & Up)
Instructor: Sally Adams - Tai Chi for Health Institute
Based on Tai Chi for Arthritis from the Sun Style form, this modified class emphasizes joint-safe moves, agile steps and Qigong breathing. Regular practice will help improve balance, help prevent falls, increase muscle strength, improve immune function and increase concentration and mental focus. Class will learn the Basic 6 Moves. Please bring an extra pair of low-heeled, comfortable indoor shoes with clean soles.
This class is subject to immediate cancellation if any order or advisory by a federal, state or local official would preclude Pima County's ability to offer this class, such as orders and advisories intended to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus. All registered participants would be immediately notified should there be a cancellation.
