About This Activity
Children, ages 6-12, will spend the day at the farm, exploring and playing while engaging in farm activities for a range of ages. Our guides will share farming practices including caring for and connecting with the animals, farm to table cooking and baking, fiber arts such as spinning wool, nature crafts and other seasonal homesteading and farm chores. Additionally, there will be time each day for unstructured, self-directed learning, play, and exploration of and in the natural world. Note: Participants should be 6 years old by the start of this session in order to participate in this program.
