Worm Composting for Beginners! Discover the benefits of composting and how to harvest worm castings by creating an indoor worm composting bin! Jock has operated his worm farm for 12 years and has offered multiple workshops. All supplies provided! The workshop is led by Jock Robie, a longtime vermicomposting advocate and educator, who will bring his expertise for sustainable waste solutions. The goal of the workshop is to introduce students to the benefits of worm composting and the important role decomposers play in recycling nutrients and reducing food waste. Through a mix of presentations and hands-on activities, students learned how plants thrive on nutrient-rich worm castings, how to properly care for a worm bin, and how to avoid common pitfalls in the process.
