About This Activity
Get a jump-start on the next school year! Fast Forward introduces students to the concepts they will encounter in their next grade level—in a fun, exploratory and no-pressure/no-homework/no-grades structure. "People Who Make a Difference." Scholars will embark on a journey learning about the contributions of different individuals and how they changed the world we live in. They will learn more about social studies and the lives and accomplishments of heroes while also practicing new skills in both language arts and mathematics. Magnets Attract and That’s a Fact! Scholars will explore and investigate the invisible world of forces around them by experimenting and observing magnets and their characteristics. They will then practice their scientific inquiry as well as learn more language arts and mathematics skills by completing hands on projects and interactive activities. Your student will enter 2nd grade as a confident learner.
