Are you planning to join us for the Research Experience this summer? Then, start early by signing up for our Research Experience: In the Field. It's a three-day in-person program where students will work together to initiate their research projects for the Summer Research Experience. We will cover topics such as how to ask research questions, design a research project, develop a hypothesis, and develop research methods. This camp complements the Summer Research Experience, and students who participate in this opportunity will have an advantage in their research projects, giving them more time to refine their manuscripts, collect data, and complete the course. The Research Experience: In the Field is meant for field-based projects, including water collections, plant sampling, or other projects that would require students to collect data outside! Students who enroll in this program will be a part of a remote cohort, so please be sure to register for the Additionally, students can establish in-person connections with their peers and mentors throughout the process.
